About

Dyllan Gabriel is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. Rooted in the traditions of painting and drawing, his practice explores identity, objecthood, and desire through a queer lens. His work turns an attentive gaze toward people, objects, spaces, sounds, and cherished memories—examining what it means to be seen, amplified, and adored.

Through brightly colored compositions and intimate studies of everyday subjects, Larmond explores the porous boundary between the personal and the parasocial, using intimacy as both subject and strategy.

In 2022, Larmond was a featured artist in Spotify’s Culture Next Report, which debuted at the Cannes Lions Festival. In 2023, he coordinated and exhibited in Fingerfertigkeiten, a group exhibition at St. Agnes Studios in Berlin. His work has also been shown in New York City at Lichtundfire Gallery, The Canvas 3.0 Gallery, 80WSE’s Broadway Windows, the Commons Gallery, Rosenberg Gallery, and the Bobst Library Exhibition Space.

Dyllan Gabriel received his BFA in Studio Art from New York University in 2025, graduating with honors.
